Our Interventions
Through members’ and well-wishers’’ contributions, Better HAG Uganda has been able to give basic support to selected OVC in the districts of Ntungamo and Manafwa. This includes supply of basic scholastic materials like books, pens, geometry sets, washing soap, basins and contribution to school uniform.
We also do group and individual (one-to-one) HIV counseling and career guidance. It is important to note that OVC are some of the vulnerable populations of people to HIV in the country. Better HAG Uganda has since February 2011 supported 127 OVC. For More Information, see Better HAG Uganda OVC Program Profile.
